As you can imagine, we're such a large company and so geographically dispersed, one of our biggest challenges is trying to get accurate, up-to-date information out to the field, in particular to our sales people but ultimately to our customers. And that could range from product strategy to new product introductions, basically a whole slew of messages that in this size company and with the traditional means of getting our messages out it simply took too much time. It was that that really drove us to look to digital technologies, digital media assets, in particular with this format, audio podcasting, which we found to be a much easier way to get the information that we want from the people that have it and then find a very efficient way of packaging it and get it out to virtually everyone that we have in our field, which at this point is over 75,000 people, so it's a very large organization, constantly needing a lot of information, and this has proven to be one of the most effective ways to capture the information and then disseminate it.
First and foremost, since we were running this out of our Silicon Valley headquarters, we wanted to be working with a local vendor. We wanted a vendor that was obviously very professional, very responsive and understood ultimately what we wanted to do which was to roll this out in very large scale to a very large audience.
Well I can't emphasize enough how important MobileCast Media has been in the success of this program. We are a technology company but we are not experienced in producing podcasts and creating digital media assets and that was perhaps the biggest area that MobileCast Media was able to step up and help us with. The basic coaching of how to come off in front of a microphone, in front of a camera. They were very willing to take the time to coach us in those kind of protocols if you will but also they really understood how to produce a very professional finished product. And there's a lot more than just being in front of a mic or in front of a camera that there is a lot more that we've come to appreciate in the production process the editing process. And ultimately, that is what has given us this world-class professional product. We simply couldn't have done it without MobileCast Media.
